Shaping energy's future together
Date: 10 to 14 November 2026
Location: Energy Science Center at ETH Zurich
The 9th Energy Week @ ETH 2025 addresses the central questions of the energy transition and invites you to explore, through established and new formats, how research, politics, industry, and society can work together to shape a sustainable energy future.
A highlight is the symposium, offering insights into 20 years of energy research at ETH Zurich and addressing current challenges such as decarbonization, supply security, and costs. The symposium will be followed by a celebratory Energy Apéro marking the 20th anniversary of the Energy Science Center.
Complementing the on-site events, the online focus dialogues allow participants to explore key topics of the energy transition comfortably from home or the office.
Throughout the week, the exhibition “Time of Energy” will be on display at the ETH main building, making Switzerland’s future energy system tangible through artistic and scientific perspectives.
Participants are invited to register for the public symposium, the focus dialogues, and other event formats. The Energy Week is aimed at a broad and diverse audience: from technical and subject-matter specialists to individuals professionally or personally engaged with energy, but who are not technical experts. Accordingly, the different event formats offer both in-depth insights for professionals and accessible, inspiring experiences for all attendees. The entire Energy Week is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.
