15th IEA Heat Pump Conference, 26–29 May 2026, Vienna

OST’s Institute for Energy Systems (IES) made a strong contribution with several conference papers and workshop presentations during the event.

From 26–29 May 2026, Vienna hosted the 15th IEA Heat Pump Conference (IEA HPC 2026), bringing together more than 800 experts from academia, industry, policy, and finance under the theme “Decarbonization through Innovation”.

The conference featured 367 technical and scientific presentations, 10 workshops, 3 policy forums, and 6 technical site visits, showcasing the key role of heat pumps in the global energy transition.
