Training courses to conduct Pinch Analysis

Pinch Analysis provide a systematic method to analyze the energy use of industrial companies and to determine cost-effective measures to increase efficiency and to integrate renewable energy sources. However, engineers who can conduct Pinch Analysis method is key.

HSLU-TEVT offers Pinch Analysis courses and have trained over 200 professionals from engineering firms and industrial companies. Currently, HSLU-TEVT offers two courses in either English or German. The training course teaches the theoretical and practical application of Pinch Analysis that are essential to achieving decarbonization.

In the course, you will learn how to use Pinch Analysis to examine energy use in industrial companies and how to systematically develop specific measures to increase efficiency, to optimize the utility systems, and to integrate renewables.
